You can access a few lakeside sites including restaurants or just take in the views from the open water… no paddling required 🙂
About
- New 2021 22’ long Apex Splashpad with 115 HP engine
- Accommodates a maximum of 11 people or 1500 lbs
- We rent the boat for the full duration of your stay (less first night).
- Our local helper will meet you at a prearranged time in the AM on the first full day of your trip to do a brief orientation on the boat and get you out on the water for the first time. For example, if you are staying with us from Thursday to Sunday, the boat rental will be from Friday AM – Sunday AM (checkout) = 2 nights.
- After pontoon “check in,” you are free to use the boat throughout the duration of your stay.
- A separate rental agreement and $500 security deposit are required.
Important Rules
New in 2023:
Anyone who operates a motorized boat on Lake Lure must complete an online boater’s safety quiz and be able to readily show proof to officials. You can view the quiz here: https://www.townoflakelure.com/boater-safety-test
Boat operator must be at least 27 years old and sober
No operating the boat after dark (Town of Lake Lure law – applicable to all rental boats)
No towing or pulling of skiers allowed (Town of Lake Lure law – applicable to all rental boats)
All kids 13 years old or younger must wear a life jacket at all times.
